Greene County Farm Bureau will be holding a Cram the Cab event at the Jefferson Fareway store June 10 – 15. The Greene County Christian Action Resources Center reports seeing an increased demand during the summer months due to schools not being in session.
Customers shopping at the store will be able to round up their grocery purchases to the nearest dollar during this time.
Another option for shoppers is to purchase a $5, 10, or $20 pre-packed bag of non-perishable food items. Each of these pre-packed bags will contain food items the food pantry has requested. All cash and food donations received will benefit the Greene County Christian Action Resources Center.
“Please help support GCFB’s Cram the Cab project. Working together we can all make a difference,” a Farm Bureau spokesperson said.
